The Heritage Foundation has several programs that it is currently providing
services. They are:
Youth Empowerment Series is an after school program which provides drug
education and tutorial services to youth in Thomas County. This program
also conducts a summer enrichment program.
Sycamore Centre is an adolescent substance abuse program, which provides
in-home and day treatment services to adolescents, and their families who
reside in Daugherty, Lee, and Worth, Terrell Counties.
Maya’s House is a gender specific residential long-term treatment
program for substance abusing women and their children (12 and under). This
program provides services for women in Lee, Terrell, Worth, Daugherty, Baker,
Mitchell, Thomas, Grady, Colquitt, Seminole, Calhoun Counties. In addition
to addressing the issues of substance abuse, residents are provided training
to improve employability and parenting skills.
The Heritage Foundation, Inc. also provides community services awareness
programs throughout the year. Staff are available to provide awareness seminars
on a variety of subjects.

The Heritage Foundation, Inc. is a membership-based organization. Membership
funds are used to supplement restricted grant funds. Individual, corporate
and business memberships are available.
The Heritage Foundation also uses volunteers in various aspects of its
programs. And donations such as personal hygiene, clothes, and house wares
are accepted.
